Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy is a well-established, evidence-based treatment for trauma and a range of mental health concerns. EMDR is an 8-phase approach that includes assessment and treatment planning, emotional preparation and stabilisation, processing distressing memories, and strengthening new, positive beliefs about oneself and the world.
EMDR uses bilateral stimulation, which may include guided left-right eye movements, self-administered tapping, or handheld tactile pulsers (“buzzies”) during sessions.
Jane offers a warm, organic approach for both online and in-person clients, integrating parts work and somatic/body-based practices. This integrative approach can be particularly beneficial for individuals experiencing Complex PTSD (CPTSD), developmental trauma, and attachment-related difficulties.
Jane's experience in EMDR supports clients to process traumatic experiences safely, reduce emotional distress, build greater self-understanding, and enhance overall wellbeing.

Alongside my longer-term work with complex trauma, I offer a small number of short-term, EMDR-focused therapy sessions for therapists.
These sessions provide a space to work through material that feels heavy, activated, or stuck, supporting you to feel more resourced, grounded, and connected in both your personal and professional life.
Whether you are navigating vicarious trauma, burnout, self-doubt, or the impact of your own experiences, the work is collaborative, attuned, and paced with care.
